Archer is really a momma's boy. He will hug me around the shoulders and say, "my momma." and pat me on the back. I love it when we catch each others' eye and he'll say, "hi." It's really sweet. He hates getting his teeth brushed, I think it's because he has a cavaity in one of his molars. He has started naming his colors, which is great that someone's teaching him that... And he loves to play babysitter, where he drops his baby off with me then heads onto work. He also loves one of the girls from his childcare, Ella, and will sometimes mistakenly call Wiley Ella, which Wiley hates.
York's been away this week and it's been quite an easy going week. We've all gotten along well; bedtime is going smoothly, though there's at least one or two wake ups in the middle of the night. The boys really miss him. Every time Archer hears a beep of some kind, his face lights up and he says, "daddy's home" (we have a beep that goes off when someone breeches the driveway). The boys have insisted on setting out a photo of York on the table to look at when they eat.
We've listened to the entire first Harry Potter book on tape at least twice. Wiley likes it and gets it, but I don't think he's ready for the movie, I think that it would scare him. At least by just listening to it his little brain can make Voldemort as scary or not scary as he wants, which would be taken away from him if he were to see it on tv.
Archer is really into reading books and would read books for hours before bed if he were allowed. He still really loves trucks and he is talking up a storm. He is just a kid now, not a baby anymore.
