Wiley's started with all these new teenager-ish phrases, like, "You're not going to believe it...." "You know what today is calling out for...." "Well...." He's super funny. But he's been having a really hard time listening lately, to both York and me. We'll be right next to him telling him to do or not do something and he will continue to do whatever he wants.
I've been more deliberate about Archer's language development lately. He loves to sing along with Wiley to "happy birthday" which sounds like "hopp bord" and then mumbles, but definitely singing. He's signing like a mad man: fish, bird, more, all done, water, eat, sit down, and then some he seems to make up himself. I hope he gets more language soon, just for his own frustration reduction.

selective hearing ... it's quite common especially in males!
