Wiley had his well child check today. 3 feet 10 inches and 50 pounds. He really didn't like having to wear a gown and getting checked out, especially "down there." Tomorrow he starts school. He doesn't seem nearly so nervous, but wanted to pick out a nice outfit and get a good night's sleep.

Archer. Oh Archer. So difficult these days and yet so loving. Just really in the throes of trying to manage his emotions and establish who he is. Throw in a big family change and sometimes we both lose our tempers. I feel badly for it and so does he, but we are both pretty good at starting each day fresh. Mostly it's bed time that's a real struggle.

Cora Bell. She has transitioned to her new childcare really well. Elena has guinea pigs and dogs which CB loves, loves, loves. And Elena does tons of art projects and outdoor time with them. Cora Bell seems to really love this stuff. When we get there in the morning Elena will ask if she wants to play with clay or stickers and immediately CB turns and waves/says "bye" to me without any struggles. So glad this worked out!
