Archer told me that he was going to throw the egg yolk from the center of his peach into the forest.

Today we took the Bull City Connector to the Scrap Exchange. This is a free bus in Durham that Wiley's class has taken from Duke to downtown. We, instead, took it from downtown to East Durham. A totally different experience. In going toward East Durham you pass charming places such as the Health Department, the library, the homeless shelter, and my old place of employment, DSS. That stop in front of DSS was fun!

The boys loaded up at the Scrap Exchange--a half thrift store half dump. The boys got a $2 bag full of used bottle tops; old, half used crayons, envelopes without "the licky part", and an old computer mother board. Cora Bell was a champ.
