about two weeks ago, Wiley and I walked around the loop to look at the cows. While waiting for the cows to notice us, Wiley started picking at the rocks in the driveway and immediately found money. He was really excited and started talking about 'money, money.' In all, he found $.86!
Meanwhile, there was a cow mooing at us from afar, she seemed angry and eventually she trotted up to the fence to see us. When this cow trotted up to us all the other cows followed her until all 18 cows were standing in front of us staring and mooing. Not knowing much about cow behavior, I was a bit freaked out and tried to figure out if I could outrun all these cows. We mooed for a few minutes then left. The cows mooed as we walked away, like they were mad; it was so weird. Wiley was really focused on his money and didn't care that much about the cows. Yesterday we walked back around to see if the cows were there; they were, really far off though. So while we waited to see if they'd come over to use, Wiley started asking about the money. I told him we got all the money last time, but he insisted on looking anyway and lo and behold, Wiley started finding more money. Either it's a magic driveway or the when the guy gets out of his car to open the cattle gate he spills the contents of his pockets. This day Wiley found over $1.00 so we went home and made him a money bank. Wiley loved sliding the coins through the slots and then shaking the tin to make noise.
