Wiley, with lots of excitement: "mom, look, a Q, I made a Q"
Me, turning away from the front door where I was saying goodbye to Amelia and Olive, at first, complacently, 'oh a q' then "OOOOH!" Wiley drew his Q on the leather ottoman, in non washable marker.

my advice is "learn to treasure those special touches the little ones add to things" as i did with the happy face carved into my bedroom furniture! and how proud the artist was of her drawing at the time.
or you could get him to do the entire alphabet and make it a new decorative statement on the ottoman
at least it wasn't a middle finger!! ha ha ha
