archer had a 102.9 degree fever last night and 101.6 this morning. no other symptoms, so i was/am terrified about another UTI. He seems to be fever free tonight so far.
yesterday i took the boys to the museum and i ended up being a very bossy mum to other children. seriously, kids would come up to me and try to take things out of my hands as I was playing with them with wiley. I would say, 'you know, i'm playing with this right now.' Or when we were in the toddler area big kids, like 10 year olds who shouldn't have been there, would get to the toys wiley was obviously going for much faster than wiley could reach them so i eventually said, 'you are older than a toddler so i'm going to take this from you and give it to my son.' i'm not sure i did the right thing, like was it really that important? was I modeling being pushy and selfish and not sharing? or was i modeling standing up for oneself? don't know.

those big kids have forgotten about that so quickly because they've moved onto being rude to someone else - don't worry about it. You did the right thing
Definitely. Sticking up for him can't be wrong.
they're lucky his grandmother wasn't there!
