newborns

some things i'd forgotten:
they're so small, really small and floppy
they poo all the time. they pee when their diaper is off
they squeak and grunt often
they have hiccups often

my body aches as everything goes back to it's original places
having super energy from losing 20lbs
even though i feel lik the super skinniest person in the world, i still can't fit into my old clothes
headaches as hormones readjust

we're only on day 5 and my baby's belly button has already fallen off. Archer's quite laid back and undemanding, only fussing when he nees to eat, so wiley's not getting completely excluded.w's been doing really well, i'm so impressed, when archer cries, usually when getting his diaper changed, w will come running, saying here i am and sing rock a bye baby. he also coos, "hi little open eyes" when a is awake and says, "he's so beautiful" He's a great big brother and alot of the aggression i was seeing in the last few weeks has really disappeared.
