for the first time today wiley read a book on his own. we went to the library and he got a new book, so it wasn't one he'd read before, but he paged through and made up a story according to the pictures. this is a development i've been looking forward to seeing pop up.

I told wiley he had to say sorry for biting me, which he did without hesitation. then he said, "will you forgive me? forgive me please mom."
