vacation

Well we had a bunch of fun at sarah's. Started out when she was at work, wiley, archer and I walked down to the Potomac and fed the ducks. it was cooold, there was really no one else out, so it felt weird and there aren't railings along most of the river so I was pretty sure wiley was going to fall in and we left after throwing one mini bagel to the ducks. The next day we went to the museums, it was rainy and cold and fun. Wiley wasn't as into the air and space museum as i thought he would be, the best thing was the escalator and watching himself on an infared camera. Then we went to natural history, where we walked around like dinosaurs and the other animals on display. That afternoon we played the Wii fit, wiley made himself a mii, he choose to add a mustache, beard, angry eye brows, a green shirt, and dark brown skin. then he slolemed down a hill and head butted a soccer ball and took jogs around a wii park. we went bowling for the first time and loved that. at first he tried to bowl the balls himself, but it would have taken us weeks to make it through the round because a 6 pound ball is hard for a two year old to heave. then someone brought over a ramp to help get the ball rolling and wiley really loved it, he'd pick up all the different balls and thought it was magic how the balls came up through the ball chute. he made green jello with sarah at night and was told it would be ready in the morning and I swear he woke up at 3am asking if the jello were ready yet. we went to ikea and wiley and sarah played around as i shopped. wiley did really well with his manners, though i was shocked at how rude some other kids and parents were. i hate that wiley will have to learn about the crappy, mean parts of life. then we went to the bounce castle extravaganza. it was so much fun. Sarah mostly jumped and chased with wiley, but i got a chance to as well while sarah held archer. it really was fun, and 1 1/2 hours for $5. sarah will be a very good mother, she was a lot of help and wiley really likes her now.
