archer seems to be on the mend, with a terrible heat rash, but a bit happier, less vomiting and diarrhea.
meanwhile...turns out if a cricket in your possession loses half it's legs and you try to give it a kiss it will bite you. or maybe it was a pinch, either way, it can hang from the lips of a screaming 2 year old.
